We are committed to protecting our patients, our community, and the planet.
The world has changed dramatically over the last few decades. Whether it’s car exhaust in in the air we breathe, the pesticides in our drinking water, the genetically modified foods (GMOs) in our grocery stores, or the mercury in our vaccines, we are surrounded by toxicants on a daily basis. The evidence of the harmful effects of these toxicants is quickly growing.
Although the relative harm of one of these agents alone may be negligible, the additive effect of many toxicant exposures over time may pose a serious threat to health.
We also understand that there are limits to our knowledge, and that we may not yet know the full truth on the chemicals we touch, taste, see, and smell every day.
Tobacco, for instance, was believed to be a health hazard decades before the proof was scientifically conclusive. So too may it be with the parabens in our cosmetics, the binders in our pharmaceutical medications, and the food dyes in our snacks.
We see harmful agents as obstacles to healing.
We therefore strive to educate our patients on how to reduce exposure to toxicants and in turn increase the health of the individual, the family, the community, and the earth.
And when our patients do fall ill with diseases created by environmental exposure, we’re here to help them find they way back to health.
