Optimal nutrition ensures natural hormone production, brain function, immune response, and heart health.

We are pleased to offer two special tests to help better identify your body’s unique nutritional needs:

Micro Nutrient Testing

Understanding that nutritional deficiencies can affect health on the cellular level, we are excited to offer our patients micronutrient testing. This is an innovative assessment of the nutritional status of the cells, testing 34 vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and antioxidants.

By examining the nutritional status of the leukocytes, or white blood cells, this sensitive blood test is able to detect deficiencies that might otherwise be missed with general screening tests.

In conjunction with routine screening labwork, Micro Nutrient Testing may help your doctor identify nutritional deficiencies before they become a serious problem, and in turn address them with dietary counseling, botanical prescriptions, or nutritional supplementation.

IgG Food Sensitivity Panel

There are many ways in which the body can react to a trigger food. The most classic example is that of a frank allergy, which is accompanied by dramatic (and sometimes life-threatening) symptoms such as swelling of the tongue or hives. This type of allergic reaction is mediated by an antibody known as IgE, or Immunoglobulin E.

Yet there are other, less dramatic ways in which the body can express poor tolerance to a food, such as a dull headache, recurrent acne, joint pain, eczema or even difficulty paying attention in school. You may be eating something on a daily basis that your body does not tolerate.

For this reason, we are pleased to offer a food intolerance test that assesses a different type of antibody known as IgG, or Immunoglobulin G. This blood test is a useful screening tool for assessing your sensitivities to the 96 most common food allergens.

Knowing your food intolerances can be incredibly empowering and can help you start feeling better, faster.
