Services for Babies, Children, & Teens

Healthy kids make healthy adults.

The foundations of health are laid in childhood. We are therefore committed to providing the best care possible for infants, children, and adolescents and promote healthy foundations through nutrition, fitness, community involvement, and fun. By being proactive and preventive from day one, we ensure that our young patients need less treatment as they grow into strong, vital, and healthy adults.

We offer a full range of services for children, including well-child visits, sports examinations, vaccine consultations, and the treatment of common illnesses. We use a safe and effective combination of conventional medicine and natural therapies to treat both acute and chronic ailments such as colds and flus, ear infections, eczema, asthma, allergies, digestive complaints, food intolerances, and mental/emotional imbalances.

Our clinic is small – and that’s a good thing.

Unlike the hurried, “big box” pediatric practices, we take the time and care to tailor treatments to fit the unique needs of your child and family.

Say goodbye to hour-long wait times, to assembly-line medicine, and to a waiting room bursting at the seams. Our patients can have the luxury of longer visits, shorter wait times, and more personalized care.

The comfortable pace of our appointments leaves plenty of time to address your concerns and answer your questions at each visit.

Because we limit the number of clients we serve, we know our patients by name and remember their hobbies, passions, and latest goings-on. This helps us deliver phenomenal, individualized care, and ensures we all have more fun in the process!

We provide a thoughtful, hysteria-free approach to childhood vaccinations.

The current CDC vaccination schedule is not appropriate for every child.

By considering family health history, current health, and disease risk factors, we will work together to create a vaccine schedule that fits your child’s individual needs without jeopardizing the health of others. We strive to find a balance between minimizing the risk of adverse effects and maximizing your child’s protection against serious illness.

Using an alternative vaccine schedule requires dedication and research on the part of the parents, and realistically entails more frequent visits to your doctor to receive vaccines one at a time. This approach requires more time, research, and financial commitment, but we believe your child’s wellbeing is worth the effort.

We’re here to help you find the vaccine schedule that’s right for your child.

Feel free to peruse our vaccine resource page.

We don’t get awkward when your teen does.

Adolescence is a time of growth, self-discovery, existential questioning, and developing a new mind-body awareness. Often these changes occur so quickly that not even the teenager himself can understand them.

Research suggests that fewer than 25% of teenagers have an adult that they trust and feel they can talk to about their sexual health. A family doctor can therefore be a valuable resource and ally for a young adult.

Yet “tweens” and teens are often reluctant to go to an office decorated with teddy bears. They want to talk to a doctor who will spare them the lecture that sounds like an after school special. That’s why we “keep it real” with our adolescent patients, answering their questions and coaching them on smart choices through a harm reduction model of care.

We meet teenagers at every stage of development to help make the transition into adulthood smoother, safer, and happier.
